Knitting news!
I test knitted the dream in sapphire hat for Sally Jane (of the pink haired girl podcast) as part f her big hats collection. I used babylonglegs aran in the still waters colourway with 4.5mm and 5mm needles.

Please excuse the messy hair, but I finished the close to you shawl/scarf for my aunty Yvonne, knit with the yarn tree citrus celebration on the sparkle sock base.

I finished the antler mittens for my aunty Carolyn, knit with felt fusion DK in the copper patina colourway on 3.75mm needles.

I made some striped socks for my mum, they were supposed to match but the second sock had a knot in it that threw the sequence out :( I was quite annoyed as I'd actually wound yarn off in an effect to make them match as she requested, yarn is sirdar heart and sole in the find your sea legs colourway.

I made a dream in sapphire hat with acrylic DK held double for a child on the rotary club christmas tree. I really like this pattern, it's designed by Sally Jane (the pink haired girl) and I actually test knit it for her previously :)

I knit the gidday cardigan by tikki knits for a 3-6 month old off the rotary club christmas tree. I love this colour combination :)

I finally made myself a second cookie jar hat, design by Joeli creates, knit with felt fusion aran in the deep fusion colourway. I made a massive pompom with the clover jumbo pompom maker, I put it on a broach back so it's removable :)

I used the left overs from my aunties mittens to make long, fold down mitts for my son, I modified the antler pattern.

My only active project at the moment is my christmas socks, which I'm not sure I'll finish by tomorrow lol yarn is the yarn tree sparkle sock in the merry chriatmas colourway :)
