Knitting news!
My son wanted a cocoon for his Eric Carle caterpillar and butterfly, it's a bit full with the butterfly, but he's happy with it :)
The three chimneys socks by Kay F Jones but with a 2x2 rib instead of 3x1 rib, I changed pattern choice after the ribbing and didn't want to completely start over coz I'm a lazy knitter lol
Some opal vanilla latte socks for myself :) this yarn was unwound from a shawl that never got worn (too scratchy to wear on my neck), I pulled out the bind off and would a cake to make these :)
The cat in the hat colourway by the yarn tree (no longer dying), I did the vanilla latte pattern down the back of the leg, these are for my mum.

I've done a little work on the like a leaf on the wind shawl.
Cast on my whoville socks, yarn by felt fusion. I love this base 80% sw merino/20% nylon high twist 365m/100g
Cast on pink socks for mum (as she liked my Spanglish socks that I knit with jellybeans yarns in the Cupid colourway). This is a new to me base, comfort sock yarn from Germany.
No spinning or crochet news.
Embroidery!
I ordered a new kit from ohsewbootiful, so I figured I should dig out my old supplies :) I finished off what was in my hoop as it only had a bit left on it (just a doodle but stitched with wool not embroidery floss).
I copied the apple sampler (from ohsewbootiful) onto some fabric and used my own flosses to stitch it. I've changed some stitches as I was struggling a bit, but I'm enjoying it :) it's not far off finished and I'm looking forward to doing more :)
I did a hanging basket workshop, we used moss to line it before adding the soil and flowers.
My favourite is the lemon thyme as it smells devine :)
