Lack of knitting and sensory poem

I've not been knitting much lately as my finger has still been tender and dry so I worry about it splitting again. I've mainly been working on a shawl, a rather early christmas knit lol
I'd love this tee lol it is quite me, I rarely check gauge and jump into projects, which I on occasion regret lol

I found this poem interesting as my son is very sensitive to the things around him, noise especially. I though it might be insightful for some people who do not understand the pain such overloads can be. I don't understand my son completely as I am not him, but I try, and I hope that I can help him through difficult times.
