Robin Williams (quote and film)

I think this quote attributed to Robin Williams is very true, when you've experienced certain pains they mark you, and you try to protect others from such hurt, especially those you love and care for.

A film I saw many years ago as a child has been on my netflix list for a while, What Dreams May Come is such a sad film I kept putting off watching it, but I'm glad I finally did again. It saddened me to be reminded of such painful loss, not of a partner or children, but of my father mainly, and my best friend (along with other loved ones) but I think those two effected me the most and caused pains I've never managed to escape.
